The Mini Remastered by David Brown Automotive is a modern reinterpretation of the iconic Mini, handcrafted with meticulous attention to detail and engineered for contemporary living. Retaining the charm and character of Sir Alec Issigonis’ original design, it features a completely rebuilt and strengthened body shell with improved rigidity, soundproofing, and de-seamed panels for a refined finish. Every car undergoes over 1,000 hours of skilled craftsmanship, including a hand-applied paint process that takes four weeks to achieve a flawless, mirror-like finish. Finished with bespoke enamel badges and jewel-like LED lighting, each vehicle is completely unique thanks to extensive customisation options across exterior colours, interior trims, and personalised features.

Inside, the Mini Remastered combines vintage aesthetics with modern refinement and technology. The cabin is wrapped in British-sourced full-grain leather and fitted with a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system offering Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and Bluetooth. Knurled aluminium switchgear, chrome-plated air vents, and a classic Moto-Lita steering wheel enhance the tactile and visual appeal. Under the bonnet, the original A-series 1,275cc engine has been fully rebuilt with new components and tuned to deliver around 83 horsepower - 30% more than the original. Paired with a choice of manual or automatic transmission, the updated powertrain and modern suspension deliver a lively yet smooth driving experience that honours the Mini’s heritage while embracing modern performance.

This exceptional Mini Remastered was commissioned in 2022 and used a 1994 original classic Mini as a donor vehicle. Produced in right-hand drive, it is finished in Velvet Green with a contrasting White painted roof, complemented by an interior trimmed in Imperial Red leather. Enhancing both its aesthetics and performance, this example was specified with the 1330cc Performance Enhancement upgrade, Twin Rear Exhaust Outlets, Power-Assisted Steering, and a 5-Speed Manual Transmission. Braking is handled by front disc brakes and rear drums, while the car sits on 12-inch Classic Silver wheels.

Inside, bespoke detailing continues with Obsidian Alcantara headlining, colour-matched stitching, and Imperial Red seat belts. Ivory Smiths dials and a full suite of modern conveniences, such as front and rear heated windscreens, front LED headlamps, and a bespoke fitted car cover round out the specification.
