LOTUS EUROPA SPECIAL 1972

I have owned this JPS Europa since 2007. The car has had a body off restoration, re-sprayed, chassis powder coated. The engine was completely re-built by Colin Holt who formerly built Lotus Twincams for single seater race cars, it has been ported to accept 45 DCOEs but the original carbs are still in place. There is an extensive history file with Mots going back to 1985 and many more Photos of the re-build

The restoration included a full conversion to Spyder suspension ,all rose jointed with Ventilated Disc at the front and disc brakes at the rear. The car was completely re-wire with modern cabling, fuse box etc. An aluminium radiator was fitted complete with a Kenlow cooling fan. The fuel tanks were replace in aluminium including an aluminium header tank. I have a spare gearbox and also all of the original suspension/brake that will go with the car.

The car was fitted with a Safety Devices Roll Cage and full harness seat belts and a Branzt Rally Timer. The engine bay has a sump guard.

The interior has been re-carpeted and re-trimed.

The Car has been reliable and has completed several Alpine Touring Rallies with only 5/6000 miles completed since the re-build.
