RENAULT CLIO RENAULTSPORT 172 CUP

Very reluctant sale of my low mileage Renaultsport Clio 172 Cup. After 9 years of ownership it's time for a change to accommodate our growing children.

The Clio is in excellent condition for a 22 year old car and will come with a big folder full of invoices built up by myself and the previous owners, which shows how well it has been cared for over the years. The previous owner purchased the private plate 'D7 CUP' which will stay with the car.

The Clio has been kept reasonably standard, with the only modifications being a Ktec stealth back box and centre pipe, a K&N panel air filter (New standard Renault air filter included with car), a polybushed dog bone mount and Eibach Pro line springs. These are very similar to the standard Renault springs and keep the ride height around the same level. The car also benefits from the standard grey cloth Cup interior.

The mileage is currently only on 69, 850 and the all important Cambelt service was completed by local specialist (Jay Tonkin) May 25, with Aux belt, oil and filter change using all genuine Renault parts. The dephaser and water pump were replaced at 65, 600 miles, so these didn't require replacement.

I have had new NGK PFR6E-10 platinum spark plugs, NGK ignition leads, Valeo Ignition coil and Bosch Lambda sensor fitted earlier this year. In the past year genuine reconditioned brake calipers and new pads have been fitted all around, as well as fresh brake fluid.

I refreshed the suspension and bushes when I bought the car in 2016 and all these components have done less than 15000 miles, so it drives really nicely with no clunks etc. Details of Service history with Invoices or stamps in book:

Overall a very nice example of what is becoming increasingly rare Clio 172 cup, which I have never taken on a track and don't get the opportunity to take out on spirited drives.

The only negatives I can find are small scrapes and scratches on rear bumper, a tiny ding on drivers door, a bit of curbing on rear wheels (I hold my hands up to that- but blame 9 years of having to reverse parallel park!). There is also a small tear on the driver's seat bolster.
