Description
Aston Martin significantly raised the bar with DB9, in fact, such was the advance from the out going DB7, they even skipped a complete moniker.
Its all new platform incorporating its 'VH' (vertical/horizontal) architecture meant that it weighed-in 25% less than that of the DB7 but also incredibly, transformed the rigidity, handling and performance, courtesy of the 50/50 weight distribution between the all alloy V12 and the rear mounted gearbox.
The model's instant popularity gave Aston Martin much needed revenue and arguably for the first time a successful and sustainable second hand market - today you will find a host of cars available but it is imperative that your search is driven by both specification, condition and a most importantly, a good service history aligned to the right specialists or main dealers.
This car ticks all the boxes and a few more besides.....firstly, there's the ultra low miles, just a smidgeon over 12,000 miles and secondly, it's just had one keeper from new.
Actually ordered by a very generous wife for her husband's surprise birthday present directly from HMW in October 2007...there's even two special bespoke door sill plaques to commemorate this occasion
The Mercury Silver paintwork is excellent order, being virtually unblemished; likewise its moon shadow leather interior and walnut facia's, are again all like new, with no obvious wear nor evident UV damage.
So nice to see a lighter interior, a very positive enhancement in my view, opposed to the normal black or a darker leathers, as it contrasts so much better with this exterior paint colour and evidently makes the cabin altogether much lighter.
It benefits from the numerous upgrades made for the 2007 model year and significantly an improvements made to the gearbox, chassis, steering, interior, plus this model year offered a new smarter set of alloys....all are in an unmarked condition.
Beautifully looked after and maintained; to reinforce this, the last two services were carried out by 'Works', never shy of producing heroic invoices....the most recent being in February this year.
Must be amongst the best available. naturally it has all its books, manuals & keys, not forgetting its original factory umbrella too!
It would be a pleasure to answer any questions you might have. However, to really appreciate this very fine Aston Martin it needs to be seen “in the flesh”, so do please call me directly on +44(0)1737 844999 to arrange a viewing.
