ASTON MARTIN VANTAGE (VH2) V8 2007

Sadly it's time to sell my Vantage. I've owned her since late 2014, purchased as an approved used car from Aston Martin Cardiff. Full, extensive service history, from within the AM dealer network and also using trusted independents such as David Appleby Engineering and Bamford Rose.

4.3 V8 running just under 400hp, now running on Vantage S Bilstein suspension. Back in 2018 the suspension on the original springs and dampers was feeling rather tired, most of the older ones will do now unless changed, and I took the option to upgrade and fit the later Vantage S Spec suspension. That's barely 12000 miles old as of now so in very good condition.

Tyres all Michelin Pilot Sport 4s, fronts DOT code 24, rears DOT code 25, all fitted within the last 18 months, and just a couple of thousand miles on them, Brakes all in good condition with plenty of pad life left, again just a few thousand miles on them since being replaced.

The big ticket items that fail on these generally all covered in my ownership or previous owner, i.e oil seal replaced, rear light cluster fixed and sealed, fresh suspension. All wheel bearings changed at various times in its history ( the early ones have a habit of getting rumbly, so all replaced ). Door handle bubbling fixed at Chiltern Aston along with having them retrim some of the interior leather as it was looking tired in a couple of places.

Is it pristine? No, it's in good used condition. The alloys are straight with no damage but have a couple of small areas of lacquer peel/ paint lift on the rears, there is some stone chipping to the bumper and a bit of lacquer peel on the N400 Carbon diffuser that i had fitted shortly after buying her.

But she presents well, drives great and had been well looked after. Sad to see it go but time for a new adventure. She's taken us all over the UK and France, great on a road trip, and hasn't missed a beat in the time I've had it. I feel it's priced sensibly given the mechanical condition and work done but please, come and have a look and judge for yourself.
