It is common knowledge that these cars, along with various other ‘Gran Turismo era’ Japanese performance cars have seen steadily increasing in value.

Something we were predicting would happen years ago & this is a rare opportunity to purchase an R34 GTR that has been cherished & modified in a way that only adds to the experience of driving such a legendary car.

History

Accompanying this excellent GTR, is a file containing all original booklets & invoices for the engine & gearbox rebuild

Japanese service history is also within the original service booklet.

The car was imported to the UK from Japan in December 2021, where it has remained with the only UK owner since.

Modifications/upgrades which have been carried out are documented & make the car a pleasure to drive, giving excellent performance, handling & braking as well as making ‘all the right noises’.

Body & Paintwork

Finished in a crisp white, this example presents very well throughout as you would fully expect.

The Genuine Nismo Z Tune front bumper & wings give this GTR an imposing road presence, add to this the genuine V-Spec II bonnet and you get a GTR that looks exactly as it should.

The R34’s aerodynamic design, aggressive stance, & legendary quad taillights make it instantly recognizable. It’s a head-turner on the road, with timeless styling that only grows more desirable with age.

All paintwork presents well as you would hope, as do the wheels which are without any damage & the Greddy brakes look superb through the Nismo wheels.

All glass & trims are in excellent condition, likewise all lights look stunning all round, with no damage at all. There is slight deterioration the the front GTR badge as is unfortunately common on these cars.

Interior & Trim

The interior of the car is in very good condition with the light grey seats presenting very well.

Open the door to step in & you are aware that you are stepping in to, what is arguably the ultimate 90’s/00’s Japanese Performance Machine.

LCD multifunction display which looks & works perfectly and is in fact the Nismo Multi Function Display, with the lap timer switch in place neatly next to the gear stick. Unlike many of these MFD’s, this one presents very well.

The GTR sill plates are in great condition & all seats are in superb condition, with the drivers seat bolster retaining its shape & still being firm as you would hope.

The rear seats looks as though they have had barely any usage at all.

Engine

The iconic RB26DETT engine… if you know your Japanese Performance cars then you know this engine & how it is held in high regard for being one of the best engine’s to come out of Japan.

Having benefitted from a recent full engine rebuild & upgrade, using the best aftermarket parts available, this is a fantastic R34 to drive. With great performance through the rev range.

Running perfectly when both cold & hot, no unwanted noises, no smoking either on idle, on boost or on overrun.

Invoices are present for the works being carried out.

The engine bay itself presents well, importantly this includes the strut top areas – this example has a lovely chassis condition.

Running Gear

This R34 drives fantastic as you would expect, the performance & handling upgrades really add to the drive experience.

With the twin turbo setup being retained the driveability is still very good for such a powerful car.

The Exedy clutch is smooth & precise, enabling the power to be put to the road through the Michelin Pilot Sport 4 tyres.

Having had a gearbox rebuild you can rest assured this GTR is ready to hit the roads in a way that only an R34 GTR can.
