History

Accompanying this BMW M2 Competition is a large file, filled with original booklets still housed within the original ‘M’ wallet, the spare key plus MOT certificates, invoices for parts & invoices for services plus more.

Of course this example is a very low mileage car, however it has still been serviced regularly, initially at BMW main dealers & then onto specialists.

Body & Paintwork

Finished in Hockenheim Silver, this M2 Competition presents very nicely, as you would fully expect.

With the extensive Carbon M Performance carbon items, along with the M2 CS wheels & the larger M Performance front brakes, this examples really stands out from the crowd & looks very special.

Of course the car has no dents, or car parking marks & no repairs, it is beautiful.

All glass is original & all trims are in excellent condition, likewise all lights look stunning all round, with no damage at all.

Only a couple very light stonechips are present on the car, these are extremely minor but we are very fussy.

Interior & Trim

Just like the exterior, this M2 is very special on the inside too.

Being so highly spec’d it is set apart from almost all other examples on the market.

Presenting just as a low mileage, enthusiast owned example should do, the carbon interior trims are all in superb condition.

The M Performance steering wheel looks fantastic & is a great addition.

The carbon backed seats present extremely well, with the carbon backs being in unmarked condition.

Original mats are still in place, everything works just as it should do & all switchgear is in excellent condition.

Engine

Being the Competition variant, this M2 has the superb S55 twin turbo straight six.

With the S55 in the Competition, it brought a big jump in power (410bhp & 405lb ft) & the M2 finally got the ‘full fat M engine’ that purists had been calling for.

This meant a claimed 0-60mph time of 4.4 seconds & onto a restricted 155mph top speed. In a world of arguably ‘heavy’ modern cars, the M2 Comp is refreshingly ‘light’ drivers car which really took the fight to its competitors & as such the M2 Comp is regularly hailed as the ‘M sweet spot’ & one of the best M drivers cars of modern times.

This example has (of course) the carbon engine cover fitted which looks fantastic, as well as the Eventuri carbon intake kit fitted.

Also fitted is the M Performance exhaust fitted, which sounds glorious.

The engine bay itself presents extremely well as can be seen in the pictures.

Running Gear

As you would fully expect, all running gear is in excellent order.

The car drives fantastically well & the car will be serviced within our workshop this month (October) so you can rest assured the car is ready to be enjoyed.

This M2 is fitted with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tyres.
