HJA are delighted to offer this stunning Nissan Skyline R34 GT-R M-Spec, freshly imported from Japan and sourced directly from Nara Nissan Motor Co., Ltd — one of Japan’s most respected GT-R and sports car specialists, known for their museum-quality examples.

This is a rare opportunity to acquire one of the most exclusive variants of the legendary R34 GT-R. Released in May 2001, the M-Spec was developed by Nissan’s chief engineer, Kazutoshi Mizuno (hence the “M”) and was based on the V-Spec II. It was engineered to deliver a more refined and mature driving experience while retaining the R34’s race-bred DNA.

The M-Spec received a unique mechanical setup, featuring ‘Ripple Control’ dampers, revised suspension geometry, a stiffer rear sway bar, and a luxurious leather interior with heated front seats – a first for the GT-R. The lightweight carbon bonnet was replaced with a more comfort-oriented aluminium item to improve ride compliance.

Only 366 M-Specs were ever produced, and of those, just 39 examples left the factory in GV1 Black Pearl – making this a genuinely collectable and sought-after model. With global demand at an all-time high, M-Specs have become increasingly difficult to source, and we believe this example also presents strong investment potential in the years ahead.

Visually, this car has an incredible presence. The deep GV1 Black Pearl paintwork gleams beautifully, enhanced with a tasteful selection of Nismo exterior upgrades that give it a purposeful, aggressive stance. The look is completed with BBS forged wheels, perfectly complementing the car’s lines.

Performance remains close to factory specification with just a few tasteful enhancements, including an ARC titanium exhaust system, titanium front pipe, HKS sports catalyst, and a set of Ohlins coilovers that significantly improve ride quality without compromising comfort.
