2018 PORSCHE CAYMAN

Please do not compare this with any other 718 Caymans.

As well as being an excellent condition 2018 Cayman, with heated, electric seats, aircon, cruise control etc, this is a one-off 460 bhp 420lb/ft hybrid turbocharged, water methanol cooled, Ohlins R&T 718 specific coil over suspended Porsche Cayman 718. It has an uprated braking system, extra radiator and is a GT4 eater! Despite this huge performance uplift, the car is only running at 80% duty cycle so is not stressed in any way and well within safety tolerances.

Professionally improved in every way over a 5 year period to the point where the car is now a seriously fast, great handling, well sorted and reliable Cayman "RS" (not GT4RS).

THE BEST POINTS

The car has been improved over time to the point where I feel it is perfect. Every aspect of the car has been studied and developed to make the car much faster, handle much better, brake harder plus be 100% reliable as a daily driver or weekend warrior.

I have meticulously maintained this car with regular services (every 2-3k miles) but not just oils and new model oil filters but spark plugs, coil packs, water/oil separator, every bush has been updated to poly bushes (black), uprated trailing arms, all suspension components, engine breathing, intake cooling - literally every aspect.

KNOWN FAULTS OR DAMAGE

There are no faults with the car and there has never been any damage. There is no finance outstanding. MOT is until July no advisories.

If you wanted to look in minute detail, there are a few tiny stone chips on the front of the car and on the wheels but you need to look very closely to find them. I have a folder thick with service and workshop history showing well over £25,000 spent on the car.

THE STORY

I bought the car standard from Porsche and have spent an incredible 5 years improving every single aspect of the car.

It is now significantly faster than other Cayman models all the way up to the unobtainable GT4RS which costs at least three times as much money.
