Enthusiast owned fully sorted Gen 1.5 Audi R8 S-Tronic V10 for sale due to looking to upgrade to a 570S!

Owned by a fastidious mechanical engineer and car enthusiast for over 2 years. The Gen 1.5 R8 is one of the most reliable and best sounding sports/super cars out there you can buy. Having covered 65k miles, yet is in better mechanical and cosmetic condition than many I've seen with half the miles on them. Its basically mint and needs nothing done to it. All the usual (but minimal) big repair bills over the last 2 years have been completed by me. You will find no leaking mag rides, worn brakes, leaking oil pump seals, dodgy air conditioning, alloy corrosion on this car, everything has been sorted! It lives in my heated garage all year round and is the third car in the household, so only comes out on dry days starting on the button every time.

Since owning it I've spent over £15k on modification and maintenance and its had over £20k of warranty work done on it to make it perfect like I do with all my cars, they are a hobby to me and after 2 years this is classed as a long termer! I think I may actually regret selling it if I do.

Literally all the expensive fail points on these is new within the last 3k miles! Suspension, brakes, rectified oil pump leak, servicing.

The basics – standard and optional equipment

Gen 1.5 2013 v10 7 speed S-Tronic, Daytona Grey pearl effect colour, Extended full fine nappa leather dash, silver diamond stitched seats and door cards, Fine Nappa leather seats with electric adjustment, Audi Parking System Plus with reversing camera, Cruise control, Carbon Sigma side blades, Contoured perforated leather sports steering wheel with gear-shift paddles, Bang & Olufsen sound system with Audi Music Interface (ipod etc), mobile phone prep. Full LED headlights, Engine bay lighting Under Audi warranty.

History and recent work done -

- FULL Audi service history, apart from the last service done in August 2025 which was done by RE Performance (well known to be the GOAT in the R8 world). The SH folder is an inch thick!

- 2 gearbox oil and filter changes throughout its life.

- Recent air filters.

- New fuel filter.

- New fuel filler cap (due to very slight perishing on seal)

- Nitron Elec-tron coil overs - very trick set up (£5k upgrade)

- Brand new BBK 380mm Reyland floating discs and Pagid street+pads all round - amazing feel and stopping power (handbrake pads also replaced). (approx. £3k upgrade)

- New RHS front brake air duct as original was broken.

- New alarm sounder

- Tyres are all decent Continental sp7 on gen 2 alloys fitted in my ownership.

- It had a new oil pump (£5500!) last year under Audi warranty all due to the common oil O-ring leak.

- New aux belt and tensioner

- It has NO paint blemishes at all, and minimal paint chips as had £10k of paint done by Audi 18 months ago. These like the Gen 2 are showing ally corrosion signs, this car has none of that.

- New door strips by the window on top of the doors (these start to delaminate)

- Ceramic coating applied last year to all exterior

- Steering wheel replaced with one from a 15k mile car (same as removed, just looks newer)

- New RS style honey combe front grill (original also available)

- Brooke Race Exhaust sounds immense

Car must be one of the best sorted Gen 1's out there with all the main jobs done and a full clean service history, with no big bills looming for the new owner and no dodgy paintwork or corrosion on any of the usual places (anywhere in fact!) It has never been mapped, or had any accident damage or repairs, is HPI clear and I don’t owe any finance on it. It has never let me down in the 2+ years I've owned it, apart from an AC pressure sensor going last year which has since been replaced. I've done 2 Wales weekend trips in it and a trip to the Nürburgring (didn't go on track though) last year all faultless and returning many great memories!
