I have owned this car since 2017 and I am the 2nd owner, the first being the VW dealership. If you are reading this advert then you know what makes these cars so special compared to any other GTI. For me this was the perfect spec car as to me a GTI should be manual and 3 door, add in it has the optional Recaro Wingbacks and 19" alloys makes an already rare car even more rare in this spec.

Full service history (VW until 2022 and then specialist since). Last serviced 5/2/26. Mot'd until Dec 26. The car has had the thermostat housing replaced (common issue with all EA888 engine cars) with genuine VW updated parts. It also has had the clutch replaced as it developed a fault at 20000 miles. An uprated clutch was installed by the specialist that looks after the servicing.

The car is in lovely condition both inside and out. I had it professionally detailed with paint correction a few years ago. It was away for a week and the work carried out can be seen on the companies website.

Sadly, the car has a Stolen marker on it as in Dec 2022 it was stolen via a house break-in for the keys. The car was recovered 5 days later after only being driven 50miles away and left with absolutely no damage except a puncture and 2 alloys kerbed. An insurance claim was made to cover the replacement of the alloys and tyres and I also insisted all the lock barrels were replaced and 2 new keys provided as the keys were not found with the car. Photos of the car being picked up from the police compound can be provided to prove the condition but the car has not had any panels or paintwork.

I appreciate the history could put some people off. If it didn't have the marker then it would be worth over £24k in my opinion.
