The Mercedes-Benz 190 SL solidified the brand's reputation for delivering a blend of elegance, precision engineering, and impressive performance. Of the 26,000 units produced, the majority were sold in the United States, with only around 562 made in right-hand drive. This car is one of those rare examples.

First registered on January 1, 1961, under the plate 56 HYL, which it proudly retains to this day, the car underwent a meticulous, nut-and-bolt restoration in 2023. The restoration, costing nearly £200k, was carried out with exceptional attention to detail and is fully documented with invoices and photographs, all of which will be passed on to its future owner, along with a comprehensive history.
