The Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG

Produced from 2010 to 2014, it represents a significant milestone in the history of Mercedes-AMG. As a reinterpretation of the legendary 300SL Gullwing and the first sports car developed independently by AMG, it embodies a consistent high-performance philosophy and combines classic proportions with agile engineering. At its heart beats the eight-cylinder naturally aspirated M 159 E 63 engine with a displacement of 6,208 cm³. The V-engine with a cylinder angle of 90 degrees delivers 571 hp at 6,800 rpm. The maximum torque is 650 Nm at 4,750 rpm. Power is transmitted via an AMG SPEEDSHIFT DCT 7-speed sports transmission with dual clutch and electrohydraulic control. The transmission is arranged in a transaxle design on the rear axle and drives the rear wheels. The driving performance emphasises the model's sporty aspirations. The SLS AMG Coupé accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.8 seconds and reaches a top speed of 317 km/h. The body is based on an aluminium spaceframe structure, which enables high rigidity at a comparatively low weight. The kerb weight is 1,695 kg. The wheelbase is 2,680 mm, the overall length 4,638 mm. Added to this is an impressive width of 1,939 mm.

On the chassis side, the SLS AMG Coupé has independent front and rear suspension with aluminium double wishbones. This design ensures precise steering behaviour and high driving stability. The steering is hydraulically assisted and speed-sensitive. Internally ventilated and perforated disc brakes on the front and rear axles ensure powerful deceleration. With its combination of large-volume naturally aspirated engine, transaxle drive concept and consistent lightweight construction, the SLS AMG represents an independent interpretation of the classic high-performance sports car. During its production period from 2010 to 2014, the model established itself as a key performance vehicle from Mercedes-AMG and still holds a special place in AMG's model history as a modern classic.

About the vehicle offered here

This SLS was completed by the factory in October 2010 in the rare designo special colour Benitoit blue metallic. Originally produced for the Japanese market, the vehicle arrived in Germany at the beginning of 2016, where it became part of the collection of a German billionaire. He has been the only private owner of the AMG ever since. Servicing was carried out by Mercedes-Benz on the following dates: 12 February 2016 with 9,518 km, 23 April 2020 with 11,986 km and 20 October 2025 with 13,652 km.
