The Mercedes-Benz C 63 AMG Black Series

Based on the W204 model series, the C 63 Black Series is one of the most uncompromising high-performance sports cars AMG has ever produced. It was unveiled in 2011 as a strictly limited special edition, with a much stronger motorsport focus than the already powerful standard C 63 AMG model. The aim was to create a driver-focused vehicle that bridges the gap between road cars and racing technology, clearly targeting ambitious drivers. At the heart of the C 63 AMG Black Series lies the well-known 6.2-litre naturally aspirated V8 engine, internally designated M156. In the Black Series version, it delivers 517 hp and provides a maximum torque of 620 Newton metres. This enables the vehicle to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in around 4.2 seconds. The engine is characterised by its responsive throttle response, high revving ability and legendary sound, making it one of the most emotive AMG power units of all time. Power is transmitted via the AMG Speedshift MCT seven-speed transmission, which enables particularly fast gear changes and offers several driving modes. Compared to the standard C 63, the chassis has been extensively revised. The Black Series features a wider track, a fully adjustable coilover suspension and a significantly stiffer setup. Camber, toe and ride height can be individually adjusted, making the car ideal for use on the racetrack. The rear axle is fitted with a mechanical limited-slip differential, which significantly improves traction when accelerating out of corners. This is complemented by a high-performance braking system featuring large composite brake discs and six-piston calipers on the front axle.

Visually, the C 63 AMG Black Series stands out clearly from the standard version. Striking features include the significantly widened wings, the large front splitter with additional air intakes and flaps, and the fixed bonnet with air vents. At the rear, a large rear spoiler provides additional downforce at high speeds. The aggressive aerodynamics are not just for looks, but also improve driving stability during sporty driving. 19-inch alloy wheels at the front and 20-inch at the rear emphasise the muscular appearance. The interior is consistently designed for performance. Factory-fitted Recaro bucket seats, plenty of Alcantara and carbon fibre trim elements define the ambience. Comfort features have been deliberately omitted to save weight and focus on the driving experience. At the same time, a certain degree of everyday practicality is retained, which distinguishes the Black Series from pure racing cars. The C 63 AMG Black Series was produced in limited numbers and is now regarded as one of the most sought-after modern AMG classics. It embodies an era in which AMG still integrated uncompromising naturally aspirated engines, wide bodywork and genuine racing technology into production vehicles. For enthusiasts, it represents the pinnacle of the C-Class performance models and is an impressive example of AMG’s engineering prowess.

About the vehicle on offer here

This C 63 AMG Black Series was first delivered to its first owner by Mercedes-Benz Bremen in June 2012. He remained the sole registered owner until March 2021, when we sold the vehicle to its second owner, an enthusiast from Stuttgart. The second owner decided to sell the Black Series in 2026, which is how it came back into our possession. Over the years, the vehicle underwent servicing on the following dates: 30 May 2013 at 18,051 km, 4 June 2014 at 27,492 km, 30 April 2018 at 29,790 km, 1 June 2022 at 31,534 km, 5 September 2023 at 33,118 km and 28 March 2025 at 33,388 km.
