1928 Rolls-Royce Phantom 1 Brougham De Ville
Chassis Number 63RF with coachwork by Wilkinson of Derby. Supplied new to Sir Arthur Young - Baronet of Dunbartonshire. This is a perfect motor car for touring as it offers open motoring for those who like the open air and warm enclosed comfort for passengers who aren't so keen! This lovely motor car has received an extensive restoration some years ago and is still in lovely condition. The engine was rebuilt by AJ Glew and runs beautifully. The rear compartment is trimmed in West of England Wool Cloth and features drinks cabinet, brushing set and intercom telephone. The fitted tools can be found under the front seats, with jack, winding handle and leather tool roll to be found in the exterior side compartments. The beautiful coachwork is finished in Thistle green with Black stripes, a Japan leather roof plus nickel fittings and extremely elegant Opera lamps. On the road this motor car performs beautifully and is such a pleasure to drive with an easy gearchange and a powerful engine. This exceptional Phantom 1 would make a wonderful addition to any collection.
