Description

Released in 2015, the Lotus Elise S CUP was the road-going version of the CUP R. Tweaked and tuned, the S CUP produces 217bhp from its supercharged four-cylinder engine and accelerates from zero to 60mph in just 4.2 seconds. The S CUP is an incredibly rare car, with only 28 units supplied to the UK.
This particular Elise S CUP was build number 22 with fitting B22 CUP private reg to go with the car. It has had just five owners from new and has covered only 30,759 miles in its 11 years. Painted in Lotus Carbon Grey (B137), this S CUP is in fantastic condition. It features the highly desirable and functional ‘Big Aero Kit’ available only for a short period, with later Cup models not benefiting from this feature.
Additionally, the car is optioned with upgraded Nitron NTR Clubsport 40mm suspension (This was optioned on the Lotus Elise 260 Cup from factory), Lotus AP Racing 4-Pot big brake kit and air-conditioning which were all supplied by original dealers Lotus Silverstone (Woodcote & Copse) with the original sales advert documented in file. The Elise also comes with both OEM double skinned hard top and soft top in new condition, lightweight lithium battery (9kg weight saving vs standard), passenger airbag delete, Lotus Cup R Momo Tuner Removable steering wheel (great for security), tow eye eye kit and performance induction kit.
The interior is finished in Alcantara with silver contrast stitching, S Cup Lightweight seats, carpet mats and passenger footrest. Lotus harness bar and Scroth Racing 4-point harnesses are installed. Also features switchable sports driving mode and traction control. The car is currently installed with a wireless Apple Carplay Double Din and TF surround which you could easily mistake for OEM. This brings a much better useability to the Elise for everyday driving.
This is a fantastic opportunity to own a rare, well-specified Lotus Elise S CUP in excellent condition, and a stunning colour! It is very rare to see such a fully comprehensive and detailed servicing schedule giving you peace of mind. To further add to this the Nitron NTR Clubsport Suspension were fully rebuilt, serviced and had all springs replaced in Q3 2024 at a cost of £2000. All consumables, discs, pads, tyres are in fantastic condition and are ready to go aligning to Lotus franchise standards.

The car is currently pictured with the Lotus Elise Final Edition Ultra Light alloys. These will not be sold with the car. The Elise will come with the original Lotus forged alloys in black with almost new tyres V107 tyres - The car can be seen with these alloys in later pictures. The Elise also features a full 2bular exhaust system with sports cat which has been ceramic coated by Zircotec. Zircotec Ceramic Coatings are widely recognised as the best performing thermal barrier coatings, working with Automotive OEMs such as Koenigsegg and Pagani. This can also be added at an additional cost. Original exhaust will be supplied with the car at advertised price.
All original parts, service history and documents are present with the car.
I have spent around £3000 in maintenance over the past couple of months as my intention was to keep this long term. I have replaced all brake pads with the best you can get and lighter floating rear discs as wasn't happy with the slight corrosion on them. Any fasteners I have removed has been replaced with a corrosion resistant black coated stainless. Full setup for geometry and tracking to the Lotus Elise 260 Cup setup in Lotus service manual was complete this month. It drives like a dream with the Nitrons.
The reason for sale is I am looking to upgrade to a Lotus Exige 430 Cup with more power. If I do not sell, I will try to keep both as this is a really rare care being an original S Cup built by the Lotus Motorsport department, although I am limited for space so needs must.
