2008 ASTON MARTIN V8 VANTAGE

Introduction

To commemorate the company’s racing successes at the Nurburgring, Aston Martin released the limited edition N400 at the 2007 Frankfurt Motor Show. The N400’s 4.3-litre V8 was tuned to produce 400 bhp (298 kW; 406 PS) hence the name, and the car also featured a sports pack which included lightweight graphite-finished wheels, uprated springs and dampers and a new rear anti-roll bar.

The N400 was available in three special paint colours; Bergwerk Black, Lightning Silver and Karussell Orange. Each car came with perforated leather trim, including a map of the Nurburgring stitched on the center armrest, and a numbered plaque.

Aston Martin tested the car at the Nurburgring Nordschleife circuit where it was able to complete a lap in under eight minutes. The package was available as either a coupé or Roadster with a total of 480 examples (240 Coupés, 240 Roadsters) being built, in note of the fact that there are 480 seconds in 8 minutes.

Description

We are delighted to offer this lovely N400 Vantage Sportshift from a long term customer and friend who has owned and enjoyed the car for the last 13 years, albeit with little use in recent times hence his decision to let it go.

The N400 was considered a Full Specification car with lots of equipment added as standard including the Sports Pack which contained Lightweight graphite-finished 19″ 5-spoke alloy wheels, Uprated springs and Bilstein dampers and for the coupe, a stiffer rear anti-roll bar, also unique to the N400 were a slightly deeper “N400” side sills, Magnum Silver bonnet/side strake meshes, clear rear lamp lenses, and a bright finish grille.

Also added were a numbered sill plaque, of which our car is number 69/240, a map of the Nürburgring circuit embroidered on the center armrest, 700W Aston Martin Premium Audio (Dolby Pro Logic II), Bluetooth, cruise control, HID headlights, and heated, 10-way memory seats.

Available with either 6 Speed Manual, or Sportshift Automatic (Automated Manual) Transmission.

Just serviced at Aston Martin Nottingham and with new rear tyres fitted, this example is ready to be enjoyed.
