Here at Quick and Big Ltd we are delighted to offer for sale our super low mileage, Volkswagen Golf GTI ClubSport S (Mk 7).

Widely regarded as the best driving Golf, The ClubSport S, was produced in very limited numbers (only 150 in RHD and 400 worldwide), ours is number 145, to celebrate the Golf GTI’s 40th anniversary. There is a huge collectors market to classic and rare VW’s and their values continues to climb.

It has come to us, from its enthusiast owner, and despite its mega low miles (1261 miles) has been comprehensively maintained with 7 Volkswagen Main Dealer service stamps (with invoices). It also benefits from a full PPF treatment (we are told this alone cost £4k).

The Mark 7, Club Sport S, is a stripped back, light weight, high performance Golf, which back in 2016 was lorded as the fastest front wheel drive production car round the Nurburgring, a record of 7 minutes 49.21 seconds. A time that has still some 10 years later has only been eclipsed since by 2 other cars. The iconic ClubSport S was only available in the original Mk 1 GTI’s colours, red, white and “Deep Pearl Effect Black” as seen on our lovely example.

The market and the motoring press absolutely loved them, they were labelled classics and collectors cars from launch, a quick “Google” reveals a number of rave reviews along with the “Ring” hot lap video, the Pistonheads and Evo reviews are a great read.

The Turbo charged 2.0 TSI engine in the “S” was the most powerful Golf ever, delivering 310bhp / 380Nm, combined with lighter weight, manual gear box, upgraded brakes, tyres, exhaust, variable adaptive dampers, unique body work, chassis and ESC driving modes, all contribute to a 0-60 mph time of 5.6 seconds on the way to a top speed of 165mph.

KD17AGY was supplied by Volkswagen Newbury and was first registered on 22/3/17. It is presented in stunning Metallic Black it has covered only 1,261 miles from new, it’s been cherished by 3 enthusiast owners. Its beautiful exterior is complemented by the iconic red striped and stitched interior, with piano black “Honeycomb 40th” accents. We also have a private plate that fits the ClubSport S well, GT17 ACE is available by separate negotiation.

Whilst the ClubSport S is a stripped out 2 seater, it’s not without modern luxuries, the options list however was short, and ours comes equipped with the only available option – climate control.

Standard equipment on the ClubSport S includes: 6 speed manual transmission with golf ball gear knob, 4 selectable driving modes (Comfort, Normal, Race and Individual) which adjust dampers / steering / engine response / electronic stability control / exhaust note, sat nav / blue tooth, super comfortable and supportive Recaro bucket seats, Alcantara trim and steering wheel (its previous owner only ever drove it with gloves on, so not to mark it), start / stop tech, auto lights and wipers, multi-function steering wheel, heated seats, adaptive LED rear and day time running lights, bi xenon headlamps, auto hold electronic hand brake, the list goes on!

Its enthusiast owner has maintained it regardless of cost, in the original service book (with receipts to back it up) are 7 inspections, all by VW main dealers, at: 157, 165, 298, 341, 345, 348, 1231 miles.

Our lovely Golf’s MOT history it’s completely advisory free, and along with its service history supports its super low mileage. Its current test does not expire until 3/4/27. The comprehensive history file includes all its old MOT certificates. The ClubSport S is also ULEZ exempt.

It’s beautiful “Pretoria” alloys are clad in 235/35/19 Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tyres with 6.5mm of tread front and rear.

Our mega rare ClubSport S, comes with full book packs, locking wheel nut key, original mats and 2 working remote fobs. It also comes with recently fitted Think Ware front and rear dash cams, and Meta Trak immobiliser and tracker (subscription required).

It will have an independent 90+ point pre delivery inspection, for the new owners benefit. It is of course HPI clear and a full HPI report will be available to potential purchasers.

Many thanks for wading through our lengthy description, we believe it’s better to describe our cars fully. It is not in our interest to waste your time or ours with inaccurate descriptions. It does of course have the odd age related imperfection (that would be splitting hairs), it is almost as new.
