We chose this car for its mileage, history and specification, but after driving it, it was the character that made it feel like the right example. I was fortunate enough to collect this car with a colleague and we came back the scenic route. He was driving it first, and from behind, the sound was so good I had to swap over and drive it properly myself. The V6 tone, the crackles, the response and the valved exhaust all come together perfectly. It is not just loud for the sake of it; it has that proper Jaguar theatre that makes an F-Type feel like an occasion. The car itself feels very well cared for. It drives with the tightness and confidence you want from a low-mileage example, and it arrived with us needing very little preparation other than the fresh service we are carrying out for its next owner.
