A rare opportunity to acquire one of the most focused and collectable modern Volkswagen GTIs.

The Clubsport S was limited to just 400 cars worldwide, with only 150 officially supplied to the UK. Developed as the ultimate expression of the Mk7 GTI, it combines a 310 PS turbocharged engine, six-speed manual gearbox, front differential and weight-saving two-seat configuration to create a genuinely special driver’s car.

This black example has covered approximately 18,000 miles and has been in my ownership for the past four years. It remains in original condition, is accident-free and retains its factory paintwork throughout. The interior is exceptionally clean and presents extremely well, reflecting the car’s low mileage and careful ownership.

The car has been maintained consistently, with an excellent service history supported by the relevant documentation. Its next scheduled service and MOT are due in November. It drives exactly as a Clubsport S should, with sharp steering, strong performance and the sense of occasion that separates it from a standard GTI.

It is fitted with Michelin Pilot Sport 4 S tyres, and the original spare wheel and jack remain with the car. A spare set of brake pads will also be included in the sale.

The only notable cosmetic imperfections are minor marks to the alloy wheels, consistent with normal use. These have been left as they are rather than subjected to an inexpensive refurbishment. Otherwise, the car is in excellent condition inside and out.

The Clubsport S has become increasingly difficult to find in original, low-mileage condition. This is an honest, carefully maintained example that can be enjoyed properly while remaining one of the rarest and most significant modern Golf GTIs.
