The sleek, ‘super-formed’ aluminium and composite bodywork of the DB9 was initially designed by Ian Callum and was twice as stiff as the DB7 but 25% lighter

Powered by a 6.0-litre V12 producing 450bhp and 420lb/ft mated to a six-speed ZF automatic gearbox with paddle shift

This example is finished in Oyster Silver complemented by an Iron Ore Red leather-trimmed interior and is offered fresh to market from long-term private ownership

The odometer currently displays 56,190 miles from new, however, a replacement engine was fitted at approximately 26,000 miles, meaning the present power unit is understood to have covered only around 30,000 miles

Due to a power drain, the head/satellite navigation unit has been removed from the car; the unit will accompany the vehicle upon sale

Having been sparingly used in recent years, the DB9 may benefit from some minor recommissioning before being pressed back into regular service

The registration number D15 HEW is not included in the sale and will be removed prior to the auction
