This is not simply a GR Yaris with a selection of bolt-on modifications. The engine, turbo installation and associated systems were custom-built by SRD, with an X Shift seven-speed sequential gearbox and MME Motorsport pneumatic shifting system at the centre of the build.

The car has an enormous specification throughout, covering the engine, transmission, drivetrain control, suspension, safety equipment, interior and exterior. It would be exceptionally difficult—and considerably more expensive—to recreate today.
