EXTERIOR

Immaculately presented in rare and beautiful metallic Toro Red, this is without doubt the finest V8 Vantage we’ve seen. Having just received a full detail and machine polish the paintwork is exceptional throughout, and we’re pleased to report that it’s free from blisters in any of the common Vantage weak spots. She’s arrow-straight along both sides with new protective stone chip guards on the rear arches and very few chips at the front end. All the brightwork is first-rate and the alloy wheels remain in perfect, unmarked condition having previously been refurbished to a very high standard.

INTERIOR

A perfect complement to the exterior hue, the black leather upholstery is finished with a contrasting red stitch. The deeply bolstered sports seats have worn extremely well, the leather still feeling very soft to the touch with only the lightest of surface wear to note. Other common touch points including the gear knob and steering wheel also present extremely well with a lovely shine-free texture. The pale Alcantara headlining is unmarked and everything works as it should. Under current ownership the car has been subtly upgraded with an up-to-date touchscreen satnav unit, a handy reverse camera, iPod connectivity, and a dash cam. The boot area is similarly clean and tidy with an unused Aston Martin umbrella included.

ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION

Reading through the accompanying paperwork it’s clear to see this Vantage has been cherished since new. Not only is it in tip-top shape cosmetically, the maintenance record is also one of the best we’ve seen with 16 services having been carried out to date, lastly in March 2026 less than 500 miles ago. For the first 11 years the car was serviced solely within the Aston Martin main dealer network before being taken care of by one marque specialist, AHM, for the next 6 services.

In November 2020, at 38k miles, in addition to its annual service the car was treated to the AHM twin-plate clutch upgrade (a popular remedy for the Vantage’s standard heavy clutch pedal) including a new flywheel and slave cylinder. At the same time the car also received new Bilstein dampers and springs front and rear – the invoice for all this work totalling an eye-watering £9,733.

HISTORY FILE

This magnificent Toro Red Vantage coupe was supplied new by Stratstone of Mayfair in September 2006. It has now driven only 47k miles in the hands of 6 owners. Within the accompanying documentation the lucky new owner will receive the original leatherbound owners’ manual/service booklet, a thick raft of invoices and MOT certificates, 2 spare keys, a printout from Aston Martin confirming the original build spec, and the current V5C showing 5 former keepers.
