Introduced in 1948 and conceived as a simple, rugged and versatile utility vehicle, the Series I established the foundations of the Land Rover legend

First registered in 1956, this late-production, pre 88" example has been restored at some point in its life and has clearly been cherished over the years

A long-standing member of The Land Rover Series One Club and presenting particularly well today

Finished in traditional Bronze Green with a new green vinyl interior, complemented by a fresh Sand canvas tilt and frame

Introduced in 1956, the 1,997cc spread-bore four-cylinder proved to be considerably more reliable than the earlier siamese bore units

It's scheduled to undergo mechanical maintenance at the end of September, with full details of the work to be added to the catalogue once completed
