The original factory tyres were still fitted when it arrived with us, which is a remarkable thing to see on an R8 of this age and a very tangible sign of how little use the car has actually had. They were naturally showing age-related perishing, so rather than leave them in place simply for originality, we are replacing them with a brand-new set before sale. The previous owner had also gone to considerable effort to protect the car, having the entire exterior wrapped in matte PPF.
