The mileage is the headline here, but what makes this car interesting is how much of the rest of it supports that figure. The original factory tyres were still fitted when it arrived with us, which is a remarkable thing to see on an R8 of this age and a very tangible sign of how little use the car has actually had. They were naturally showing age-related perishing, so rather than leave them in place simply for originality, we are replacing them with a brand-new set before sale. The previous owner had also gone to considerable effort to protect the car, having the entire exterior wrapped in matte PPF. That would have cost thousands to do properly and, even now, the film presents extremely well. Combined with the condition of the paintwork underneath, it was one of the clearest signs to us that this has been treated as something special throughout its life. The colour combination is another major part of the appeal. Daytona Grey works beautifully with the matte finish, while the brown Fine Nappa leather gives the cabin far more character than the usual black interior. The previous owner spent a long time finding the right R8 before buying this one, specifically because he wanted this combination. Its history is equally reassuring. Despite the low mileage, the car has not simply sat for years between services. Audi main dealers have maintained it throughout, with recorded visits at 2,803, 3,718, 4,349, 6,090 and 9,803 miles. The previous owner even took it back to Audi for a full service and inspection immediately before we collected it. The reason for sale was simply that he had bought a brand-new 2026 Porsche 911.
