2013 JAGUAR F-TYPE

Very regrettably, my 2013 F-Type 5.0 V8 S Convertible is up for sale.

This is the full fat V8 (unrestricted) - standard, unmodified 495PS engine. It looks and sounds absolutely incredible - it’s a huge event to be in and drive. I am meticulous with my cars and it took me a long time to find this one when I bought it. The plan was to keep it long term, hence investing in it (see below), but sadly my wife’s redundancy means we can no longer justify keeping the car. It has covered 59,000 miles.

It’s an extremely well maintained car in pristine condition, with a very high specification comprising no less than 26 factory fitted options. It was over £91k when new, with over £11k of extras including the wing-back Performance Seats with contrast red stitching, full Premium leather to doors & dashboard, Meridian Surround sound (770W), switchable Active Sports Exhaust, Heated windscreen, Flat bottomed steering wheel, Reversing cam, Heated seats, Configurable Dynamic-I, and lots more (see photo for full spec).

On top of the condition and specification, what really makes this a standout example and separates it from others on the market is the maintenance history. As well as an impeccable service record, it has had £7k spent on engine-out preventative maintenance just 2 months ago at a top Jaguar specialist, including the following:

Injectors - replaced on cylinders 1-4 (other 4 already done)

Timing chains - new revised JLR timing chain kit fitted including new chains, guides and tensioners

Cooling - Numerous parts replaced & upgraded including new aluminium Y pipes, water pump, upper & lower galleries, heater bridge, upgraded bleed off hose kit, and more.

Supercharger - inspected, checked & serviced by Powerhouse - new JLR coupler, rotor drive hub, case bearings re-greased, OE supercharger oil

Underside - full Dinitrol treatment to all areas as required. New stainless rear strut brace, refurbished front A frame.

Other - Drains cleared in rear quarters and front scuttle. New PCV valve. New fuel return pipes.

As part of the above it has naturally had the major service items done - Fresh engine oil & filter, coolant, plus new belts and air-con re-gassed.

It has full documented Jaguar and specialist service history, including the original purchase invoice, plus 11 services recorded (all stamped & invoices present, including every MOT certificate). On average, the oil has been changed every 5300 miles, often less, which is excellent for the longevity of this wonderful engine.
