Running costs: charging at home on a smart tariff at around 7p per kWh, a full charge of the 62kWh battery costs roughly £4.34 for up to 246 miles of advertised range. That works out at about 1.8p a mile, against around 18p a mile for a diesel car doing 50mpg with diesel at £2.00 a litre, or about £45 for the same 246 miles. Prices vary, so treat these as a guide.
