It is the best handling and braking V8 chassis Ive ever driven. Mike, Co-Director of Bamford Rose. No matter what we say about this Aston Martin, words simply wont do it justice. It has to be seen, and more importantly driven, to appreciate just how extraordinary it really is. We are incredibly excited to present this V8 Vantage N430, a six-speed manual finished in Skyfall Silver with Club Sport White accents, just 37,223 miles from new. An N430 is already a special Aston Martin. A manual N430 even more so. Find one with the exceptionally rare Carbon-Kevlar bucket seats, in this colour combination, and youre looking at something believed to be among only a handful produced. Now add V12 Vantage carbon-ceramic brakes, V12 Vantage S wishbones, genuine lightweight V12 Vantage S wheels, fully programmable Bilstein active suspension and a Bamford Rose-developed 4.7-litre V8 producing a reported 480bhp. This is not remotely comparable to an ordinary N430. We genuinely cannot imagine finding another with this exact specification. What makes it so exciting is the thinking behind the upgrades. The N430 already benefited from the Vantage Ss 430bhp engine, sports suspension and quicker hydraulic steering. Here, the V12-derived braking and suspension components have been combined with the lighter V8 platform, creating something that takes the idea of an agile, naturally aspirated Aston Martin considerably further. The Bilstein magnetic dampers feature a fully programmable active control system, making this an exceptionally interesting chassis specification. And this is not simply our opinion. Mike, Co-Director of Bamford Rose, went as far as saying, With all the mods we did I would say it drives better than a V12 V. The engine has received equally serious attention. Bamford Rose hand-built stainless-steel exhaust manifolds, 200-cell sports catalytic converters and a stainless exhaust system retaining the original rear back box, complete with manual exhaust valve override. An ECU upgrade and further engine modifications have reportedly increased output to approximately 480bhp, with an invoice for 5,643.58 relating to the performance work. An uprated clutch assembly, lightweight flywheel and new slave cylinder were also fitted approximately 10,000 miles ago. Carbon bonnet vents and side strakes complete the exterior modifications. Then there are those Carbon-Kevlar seats. Trimmed in Black and Warm Charcoal leather and Alcantara, accompanied by carbon-fibre interior inlays, they make an already uncommon N430 specification considerably more desirable. The combination of these seats, the six-speed manual gearbox and Skyfall Silver paintwork is understood to be exceptionally rare, although precise production numbers remain unconfirmed. The ownership story is every bit as impressive as the engineering. The previous keeper was exceptionally particular about his cars, keeping this Aston garage-stored and attending to its presentation with extraordinary care. In 2018, the complete front end was professionally repainted and subsequently protected with PPF through Bamford Rose. Including associated upper wishbone work, the invoice totalled 7,166. We acquired this car after the previous owner approached us directly. Having met him, understood the attention invested in the Aston and experienced it ourselves, we knew immediately that it was something exceptional with only one chance to buy it we didnt need persuading. The N430, the manual gearbox, the rare Carbon-Kevlar seats and the unusual colour combination would already make this a hugely interesting Aston Martin. But the extraordinary chassis development, V12-derived components and extensively upgraded V8 elevate it into something entirely different.
