BMW Z4 M Coupe

Here for sale is my wonderful 2006 (56) Z4 M Coupe in Imola red. I purchased the car back in 2014 and it has been an absolute pleasure to own and drive for almost five years, but now I fancy a change.

I used the car as my daily driver up until the middle of 2017 before buying something more economical for a longer commute. Since then it has been garaged and saved for weekends and special occasions and never fails to put a smile on my face. It’s done around 25,000 miles under my ownership and has been totally reliable and dependable, requiring nothing more than servicing and general wear and tear items.

Standard specification includes:

• Imola II Red exterior

• Black Nappa leather interior

• Carbon structure leather dashboard and centre console

• Professional navigation

• Logic7 audio with DSP

• Climate control

• Bluetooth

• Auto lights

• Auto wipers

• Auto dimming rear view mirror

• Electrically adjustable seats with driver memory

• Heated seats

• Rear parking sensors

• Sun protection glass

Some subtle upgrades include:

• Genuine M3 CSL wheels (BBS stamp on rear face). Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymetric II’s all round with plenty of tread.

• M Dynamic Traction Control. Essentially, the Z4 M uses the same traction control module as the M3 CSL which has M Dynamic mode. It is disabled from the factory on the Z4 M despite having its own set of developed µ values but has been activated on this car. This partially disables the traction control, allowing a good amount of slip whilst still having the safety net there should you make a mess of things.

• Eibach springs, 10mm lower than standard and a surprisingly better ride. Original springs included in sale.

• Custom alignment, closer to that of the M3 CSL. This coupled with the Eibach springs and M Dynamic mode is the best thing I’ve done to the car.

• BMW ZCP gear leaver. Essential upgrade, shorter than standard and improves the shift quality immensely.

Recent front discs and pads.

Never tracked.

For the most part, the paint work is in lovely condition as the photos attest to. The front bumper has a couple of small scuffs on the lower leading edge where it has caught speed bumps, and there are the usual age-related stone chips etc.

The interior is in really great condition. Minimal wear to the leather and everything works as it should.

The car currently has a Supersprint Race Exhaust and Evolve Eventuri intake fitted. These will be removed for sale and the original items fitted, although I’m happy to negotiate a price to include these if desired.

I’ll be very sad to see this car go, it is amazing, but I’ve got the urge to try a Caterham or a Lotus. Any inspection is welcome, but there will be no test drives without written proof of insurance. I also wont entertain any silly offers, I'm in absolutely no rush to sell.
