BMW M5 E39 Supercharged 5.0 V8 650bhp

I have for sale my 1999 T Registration M5 E39 which i have owned for the past 10 years. In this time i have rebuilt the car and extensively modified it. The car is currently running circ 630bhp - 650bhp and 600lb-ft and the whole car has been built around this power. The clutch, brakes, drivetrain, engine, suspension, everything has been built to handle this power and the car runs flawless. The car is epic and very stealth, stock looking on the outside, de-badged, but the performance is very strong.

It started 10 years ago when I purchased the car, I set myself a goal to rebuild the car in each area and extensively modify it. I started with the brakes, upgraded and replaced everything, moved on to the suspension and drivetrain and finally got the engine up to spec. Then I looked in to more power, and went the supercharged route. This is not just a supercharger strapped to an engine, it has upgraded fueling ie fuel pump, injectors etc to handle the extra fuel requirements. The drivetrain, suspension, brakes, etc have all been fully rebuilt and upgraded again to handle this power. The ecu has been tuned by the best bmw tuners in the country Evolve, and carried out over an extensive dyno session.

The supercharger runs around 9psi so very safe, and also has aquamist direct water/methanol injection with a tank and pump setup in the boot which keeps the AIT and in combustion temperatures nice and cool, and increases power safely. The car has been on the dyno and power delivery was between 630-650bhp at the fly each time. The car also benefits from the aluminium plenum vs the facelift plastic version so will not crack or damage under boost.

The car on the inside and outside is in very good condition. In 2012 the car had a full respray in original Silverstone Blue, bare metal respray took 4 weeks. The alloy wheels were also refurbished in original shadow chrome. The car on the outside is very stock looking which is how I wanted to keep it, but a few exterior modifications such as black grill and carbon blue bmw badges.

Interior leather has been treated, steering wheel re-leathered. The car has an extensive gauge system to show exactly what the fuel pressure, oil pressure, ait temp etc are doing.

Most recently had brand new stoptech discs and pads all round and 4 brand new Michelin ps2 tyres all in the past 500 miles as well 4 new wheel bearings and all new brake abs sensors and the abs unit was also rebuilt by a specialist.

I have gone through pretty much everything i have done to the car I have listed it in 4 steps, modifications, stock car equipment list, replacement work done to the car, and also maintenance schedules. All of the work carried out has been in the past 25,000 miles.

It’s a very reluctant sale, I have spent a lot of money on this car just on parts to get it to this standard. I am looking for a modest £18,995. There isn’t much else that can be done to improve the car and I think it’s time to move on and let someone else experience this beast.

The milage is 125,832 with full service history and car will come with fresh 12 month MOT.

Bad Bits:

- This car is very loud and obnoxious and can upset other road users and the public especially dogs and horses and the elderly.

- Small bit of rust on one of the rear wheel arches.

- Few small stone chips in front bumper.

- Car returns 15-20mpg when driven sensible, but will return 5-6mpg if driven hard.
