Forza Motorsport - Hot Hatch Championship 2024
Discussion
Thanks Rene and IdleWillo. My screen locked before the first race, but I was able to rejoin the session using Willo's invite.
I think you found the equaliser - tyre pressures. I didn't change mine, and I was reasonably competitive with the Mini, despite the obvious talent gap.
I realised during the Leguna Seca race that you guys were all talking about tyre compounds. I need to change my setup, as I'm only on Sports, and the rears were permanently blue during the race.
I need to have a word with my son about my microphone. It works on my PC, but not in Forza. Any ideas?
The good news is - I'm slowly climbing the leaderboard three points at a time, and will be challenging for the championship thanks to my consistent "racing" .

Thanks for sorting the race last night Tim, great fun again!
Was having a great race and was just about hanging onto AndyD until I absolutely spaffed the Corkscrew which totally ruined my rhythm for the rest of the race.
Apologies to everyone for my clumsy attempt at giving a place back after a botched pass, I'm blaming the multiple cold delicious bottles of Sainsbury's finest German Pilsner......
Already looking forward to the next one!

Cheers again for organising Tim, was a bit of a quiet race for me but looking forward to the next one with the PI deduction! Not sure if it was AndyD who mentioned it but i'd be well up for 2 races a night or one a fortnight, given how close the racing is between the cars seems a shame to only race once a month - happy to stick to the current schedule also though
2.4hrs of Le Mans before then to endow me with crippling Arthritis, need to try and get some laps in with that 996 at some point!

Hi chaps,
No worries at all - was good fun . I'll be updating the scoreboard shortly with points.
Some really good racing had and even in the races we had after.
Happy to do more than once a month if everyone is happy to. But it will need to be a majority vote as others may not be able to commit to two Sundays a month?

Would just keep the same PI for both races.
