Old NW car dealers
Discussion
Not sure if posted (it might even have been me who did if so!) - apologies if so - but Perrys Vauxhall in Leyland is now a Tesco Express.

I believe its built near to/on the site of the former Station Garage / SGL Rover.
Google Maps dates suggests it closed between May 2018 and Sept 2021.
Any photos of the old SGL place? Imagine a BL dealer would have been busy in Leyland at some point in the past.

This was the Peugeot garage on Glodwick Road Oldham , it was firstly operated as "Sven Carlson" then later operated as PGC Peugeot Talbot . I think PGC was / is a Rochdale company . Bit of trivia is the building was originally "Watsons carpets" and after the car showroom & workshop closed it became a successful clothing manufactures . The building & business are still there .
That's a blast from the past. My Dad bought a new Peugeot 309 1.6 GL in Wedgwood Blue from Sven Carlson. I remember going with him to collect it. I can still here the creaky plastic dashboard.Edited by Charlie Croker mk2 on Sunday 1st May 15:57
