That looks fantastic. Is that/wasn't there a special edition with those painted wheels ? Also, Lobsters are Gen I wheels and my car is a Gen II. It's very hard to find spare Gen II C4S wheels. Even though I'm usually a stickler for the right wheels on the right car, I do really like the Gen I Lobsters!

My 997 C2S on collection day.....a VERY special day for me.
I remember the sleepless night before and the butterflies in my stomach when I was stood next to it with the keys to MY 911![biggrin](/inc/images/biggrin.gif)

Then I took it on an epic trip through Europe![biggrin](/inc/images/biggrin.gif)

Still think the 997 is a beautiful 911 shape

Moved from this to a 997 GT3, which is a truly amazing machine.

Had a few 911's incl GT3 and a souped up back-dated 3.2 by Francis Tutthill..
Had this 3.6 manual, PSE, PASM sports suspension, 26k miles 997 for a year now. Just love the simplicity and feel of the drive. In the real world, its easily fast enough, a hoot to pedal, engine, gearbox, suspension are so sweet....can't see me selling this one for some time.

And can I ask how yo found the Tuthill car you had ? Always fancied a Tuthill Porsche after Chris Harris had Kermit built by them years
