I was nodding my head until number 9, then it all got a bit surreal.

Top 20 misspelt words:
1. Separate
2. Definitely
3. Manoeuvre
4. Embarrass
5. Occurrence
6. Consensus
7. Unnecessary
8. Acceptable
9. Broccoli
10. Referred
11. Bureaucracy
12. Supersede
13. Questionnaire
14. Connoisseur
15. A lot
16. Entrepreneur
17. Particularly
18. Liquify
19. Conscience
20. Parallel

Number 15 kind of stands out a bit, how can "a lot" be the 15th most misspelt word?

Can't think of ever writing down the Broccoli word (no need for shopping lists), but do know how to spell it, due to a photographic memory or whatever they call it.
You see it written down or displayed and it just stucks into your mind.

One that really cooks my spelling goose is "scrapping" instead of scraping. I simply cannot understand it!

My old English teacher made us do anagrams with this word. I don't remember exactly how many words I came up with but it was over 140! It was actually a really hard assignmentin the end!
