You can download it, then just drag the MP3 into itunes.

I only play old tunes, mainly 92-97, with the odd one from 98. Ive got about 8000 in my library, which was all vinyl until 2004 when I sold them and now just mix at home for fun with a pair of Technics and Serato.
I start mixing in late 91 and followed the scene through hardcore, darkside, jungle and dnb, playing out at tons of events around Northamptonshire, Leicestershire, Cambridgeshire between 92-97 including 3 years residency at Equinox @ Milwaukees near Bedford playing along side all the biggest names smile

If you love and know your darkside you should love this Reinforced megamix I did

Always loved Division One on the flip side of Trouble. Round that era was when V Records were at their peak, I reckon.

And some classic V...

I agree, all of the Full Cycle camp (Roni, Krust, Die, Suv) ruled back then!
Every release on Full Cycle, V, Chronic, Dope Dragon and Philly Blunt were in my collection.
Their tunes from 92-97 were some of the best ever writen, especially the really early V releases

That's great. I'm confused as to why I only recognise three tunes out of that lot. For about 3 years, that's all the style I listened to. I have so many mix tapes in the loft. And yet, for some reason, most of those tunes never got played.

Really?
There are approx 40-50 Reinforced tunes on that megamix, Id say 80% or more were played in sets I heard back in the day! Nearly all of them are well known and loved tunes

Oh, hm, I did skip every 5-10 minutes just to check out what you had on it so it's possible I missed loads, then!

I've listened to the whole gamut of underground breakbeat since 1990-ish when it was hardcore (was at uni then so you can guess my age; it wasn't called old skool back then...) which became jungle and then happy hardcore/intelligent dnb/hardstep (thought intelligent was utterly dull; lacked attitude), then got a bit bored of it towards 2008 for some reason.

Anyway, I'll listen properly later on.

Oh you need to listen closely and not skip through it, there are tunes coming in and out every 5-10 seconds!
Nearly always atleast 2 playing at a time, sometimes 3 or 4 biggrin

Alright, I take it back. hehe

I recognise about 80% of them. While the mixing is done well, it's a shame that you don't get to enjoy each tune in its own right for a bit. It's like one 18 minute beatmix IYSWIM. On the plus side, I dislike a couple of tunes (Mr Kirk, for instance) so not having to put up with that tune (utterly dull) is nice.

Thats because its a very technical megamix, not just a mix done on some decks.
Here's a few mixes of mine with old hardcore/darkside tunes

Must be honest here. I was never a lover of this style of stuff, never bought any or owt, but some stuff when I've been in the mood for it it's to me liking. And this is. Thanks.

Yeah, I realised it was very technical when I could hear 3(?) tunes at the same time.

Thanks for the links. Just subscribed.
