Spotted this in the news this morning:

[quote]
The opening credits of the 23rd James Bond film, Skyfall, feature a brace of Honda motorcycles shot on location in Istanbul and Adana, Turkey, earlier this year.
Honda (UK) unveiled the actual CRF250R motocross bikes used in the film at the National Motor Museum in Beaulieu this week.
Twenty CRF250R were provided, to be adapted for stunt work and styled to suit the plot of the film, which opens in the UK on October 26. One is a Turkish police bike that villain Patrice (Ola Rapace) seizes after a policeman crashes, the other is a Turkish merchant's bike that James Bond (Daniel Craig) uses to pursue Patrice. Both bikes feature extensive modifications courtesy of Chris Corbould's award-winning special effects team.
The film unit also used two Honda CRF450Rs for HD filming of the chase sequences, because they allowed the camera crew to keep up with the action....

He's a dirty little brand whoor that's what he is. From a Bentley in the books to an Aston in the films then BMW then back to Aston, even a Mondeo in a recent film (probably others in between). Same with bikes. There was that black thing looked a bit Triumph-ish then BMW now Honda.
Even a Tuk-Tuk along the way biggrin:
Dirty dirty.

Not forgetting the switch from Rolex to Omega. As if Bond would take that kind of backward step. hehe

Useless piece of motorbike trivia - the previous few Bond films have used Bickers stunt company. Bickers as in Dave Bickers, 1960s Motocross (or scrambling, as it was then!) world champion.

He looks exactly like Arthur Dent out of the TV series of Hitchikers Guide.

I don't know, I think he carries it off in a certain style. If I looked like that I'd be beating them off with a stick too.

It'd be better if they had a chase down a bumpy dust road on a pair of blades at 170mph.
