For the benefit of LD really

Here is mine after Francis had worked his magic. Not sure it shows what you want scratchchin What I do know however is cleaning is now an absolute doddle and the car looks fantastic afterwards. I wish someone had told me about those drying towels before thumbup TonyV12V has also had it done yes

Note these pics are pre "pheasantgate" rolleyes

Yes it is, but a different type of coating. 22ple is a glass coating and you only need one layer. For the new version of exo, you still need two coats.

Did you do this yourself Nick or have a company do it for you?
If so, whereabouts and (if you don't mind me asking) for how much.

That's a really good finish on the black.

Francis (paddy328) did it. He is mobile but gets really grumpy if he has to work outside wink. You need to ask him about a price as he "owed me one" after dropping a gazebo on it last year at Hever rolleyes

Whilst on the subject of cleaning does anyone know the ABSOLUTE TRUTH about cleaning products and Carbon Ceramic Brakes teacher

It's a car, they get dirty and pebbledashed if you drive them smile

Currently I have a choice between dirty, or the polish gritty sponge swirl effect. The swirls can be hidden a bit with wax, but waxing is a giant PITA.

Paddy, is there somewhere in London I can take my car so it's indoors and you can work on it? I don't have a garage.

Nick, your idea of what to do with your time off is rubbish!

Doesn't have to be that way
Both my roadsters had a Paddy style do when I got them.
The S has just rolled over 10k miles in 18 months from new.
A quick pressure wash brings it up like new

Here's what I do when I collect them;
Snow foam
Wash with microfibre mitt and washing up liquid (removes old waxes & sealants)
Rinse
Clay bar
Rinse & dry
Poorboys SSR 2.5 Super Swirl Remover polish/mild cutting agent
Clearkote Vanilla Mouse glaze
Poorboys EXP selant
Some PS21S Carnuaba wax if I'm feeling OCD
2 coats of Collinite 845 insulator wax on inside & outside of alloys & calipers

All I’ve ever done on the S in that 10k miles is pressure wash the majority off
Microfibre mitt to wash it
Pressure washer to rinse it
Microfibre to dry it

I've used this No Rinse stuff occasionally but was not that impressed

Ventureshield & Chipex sort out the stone chips

Well pleased with how good it looks after 10k miles

Paddy, I haven't availed myself of your services yet but would be really keen to achieve the kind of finish you have with Nicks DBS.

Could you PM me what the approximate cost would be to come up to Nottinghamshire to apply this to my DB9V.

Many Thanks

David

Francis gave my V8V the same treatment a couple of weeks ago (with the same stunning outcome clap ).

I'll be washing it for the first time since in the next couple of days so I'll be interested to see what difference the 22ple makes to cleaning it.
