Agreed, for the last few years, our entries have been so MOR they must have had catseyes already fitted. The only way to win maybe is to go OTT and enrage/engauge the judges and voters.

She will be enjoying the show, i shall be laughing at the PH comments on my ipad

As forecast looks to be chucking it down, i am doing gourmet burgers, home made wedges, nibbles and wine\whisky.

Even if we come last, with the mrs wine'd up, i may not ;-)
