Thanks Phil, that's very generous.....laugh
If I can just move Wiltshire to be next to Norfolk, then that would work a treat!
Well you sounded like you were up for a run further afield... wink

If I could persuade Erin Doors, my better half, to make the trip in Niggles to see the rellies in Sarf Wayels this Christmas.....
......trouble is she seems to prefer the electric seated, 6 speed seat-heater, luxury of the Audi A8 for long journeys. Something to do with being able to recline her seat right back and sleep in comfort, thanks to the air suspension.

I keep telling her it's more fun with the wind whistling around the hood, no seat heaters, no chance of reclining the seats more than two inches, rubbish headlights, ineffective screen washers, and feeling every bump in the road. So far I have not yet won the argument, but I will keep trying. Maybe I will stand a better chance on a warm summer's day. She did come with me as navigator on a five hour PH run around East Anglia this autumn, and said she thoroughly enjoyed it, but I suspect it was a day away from the kids and grandkids that was the deciding factor!

Assuming you have an intercooler..?
Have you routed the piping through the wings to the intercooler..?

Glad the conversion worked out well for you. I spent the same week in TrackVroad doing some jobs on Kate and stood in the workshop doorway when your car went out for it's first test drive. It sounded great! TrackVroads' Ian and Matt worked hard on it, looks like everyone did a good job clap

Looks like you are still using the vacuum advance hole on the plenum, presumably for the distributor vacuum advance? If that is the case then ideally you want this vacuum advance to work in the opposite direction direction so that when you open the throttle you retard the ignition when under boost rather than advancing the ignition when you open the throttle as you have it now. This is why on the SC powered cars the take off for the dizzy is from the pipe by the stepper motor which is the other side of the butterfly valve. The idea is that on tick over when the butterfly valve is closed the dizzy is held under max vacuum advance, opening the throttle means the dizzy vac sees boost and retards the ignition. It is very crude but better than nothing at all and better than having it run the wrong way around.

Looks great, but think prob worth getting some thermal insulation over the hardpipe near the nearside manifold - otherwise you're most likely re-heating the charge you've just cooled through the intercooler..!
