Stalk you? Don't flatter yourself... hehe

If I'e picked you up on this before, which it looks like I have, then maybe you ought to adjust your posting style a little so that a mod doesn't notice you as much. thumbup
That's bks. There were several posters on the Spurs thread all gloating and a few comments on here about how happy most teams seen to be at Spurs situation, yet you chose mine out of all of them. My post merely pointed that out, hardly incendiary, yet you enjoyed picking up on it.

Several posters have commented on the Spurs WUMing on here, yet once again you chose mine to single out. As I'm a United supporter, I fail to see what I'm doing wrong in pointing out WUMing as I see it, after all you seem to support the Spurs fans crying WUM whenever I post a single comment in their thread.
No it's not. You're more interested in stating the Spurs fans are disliked on other threads than actually contributing anything positive to the threads. So what if they're disliked, why do you feel the need to point it out? Who cares?

And don't try the "supporting the Spurs fans" line, it doesn't wash.
We all know that a dispropportionate amount of the WUM-ing that goes on currently comes from the Spuddies - and has been for months.

They think they are funny/clever etc,

It appears that a significant number disagree with them on that & think that they arn't either of those things; but that they are in fact just plain boring ( & occasionally, utterly boring tts in fact) and generally infested with "small club syndrome".

This behaviour most notably demonstrated by the fact that they habitually hunt in packs. Its about as predictable as night following day.

As a result, occasionally they get some back. Life's a bh.

Can we just leave it there? wink

Is that not WUMMING on the Spurs thread? By you and others?

So you feel able to WUM but don't like it when Spuds WUM back?

You typify the mindset of most of the Manc and Scouse posters unfortunately.

Spuds don't as a rule cry WUM and throw their toys out of the pram. Since yesterday I don't recall ANY spud getting upset at any of the comments you and others have posted. Well, not in the sense that you lot seem to get upset anyway. See Flasher on the Arse thread for details.
You are joking, you scream WUM and burst into tears faster than any other group.

I just tire of the constant irrelevances, after all, you decided to try to wind up some Scousers on this thread, if that isn't WUMing I've no idea what is.

Anyway, back to ignore for you lot.

I really don't see what this adds. I was banned for a week for using a swear word, yet you feel a comment like the above is fine?

The U21 comment would have attracted one or two comments, probably four more WUM attempts and have blown over in a day or so. Its boring, but it would have passed.

Instead you have now incited yet more bickering, as the posts above prove... And yet you are a mod who is meant to prevent this sort of behaviour?

I'll take 1 instance of me screaming 'WUM' Loon...in all the years I've been on here. 1 that wasn't actually a joke with (say) CIE. 1 said in earnest.

You talk absolute rubbish.

In fact point to any of us screaming WUM.

I can do it on the last few pages for you mob, yet we're the ones missed out on 5th. rolleyes

ETA: Last page, both you and Wombat.

Oh...and on the Spuds since page 228 (when we lost 5th) you've used the term 'WUM' more than anybody laugh

I'm not inciting any sort of behaviour, 3sixty. I'm trying to ensure the thread stays on track without having to be closed or moderated too tightly. Most supporters on any thread can tell what is banter and what is outright stirring; in my opinion, Loon overstepped the line by trying to provoke the Spurs fans into an outburst reaction at his post.

I didn't ban you for a week so cannot see what you said so can't help there. But my comment was made to point out the irony that Loon was complaining about sad people on his thread, yet appearing to be even more sad by grumbling about it. That's it, don't be such a drama queen saying I am inciting people.

You can always ignore what I say, you know! If you and Loon didn't reply, this thread would have trundled on without the Spurs fans feeling they needed to react to his post, the precise reaction Loon wanted IMO.

Yet JC wasn't banned for calling someone a tt. It's bobbins in here now with a bias towards the spuds, hence why I can't be arsed posting in here as often. Shame really because I enjoy a good football discussion.

Rein in your own loose cannons & you'll get your way. As has been pointed out, most of what gets called wumming in here is in fact people reacting to provocation.

As Mart says, Loony seeks a reaction & the question you have to ask yourself is what reaction is he looking for? Personally the never ending WUM whining smacks of projection to me. Page 229 on the spuds thread:

Amazing how many supporters from different clubs are on here having a laugh at Spurs. I wonder if the Spuds realise just how disliked they are with their constant WUMing on threads.

From my perspective, I find it hilarious how delusional the Spuds are. Another season of Channel 5 / ITV4 Thursday night football to come.
Yeah, we're the WUMS. Right. hehe

It's not biased towards the Spurs fans at all. They come on the threads and give what they get back on their own thread; look at all the banter they've taken about crumbling again yet I've yet to find anyone going over the top in their defence like happens elsewhere.

As for 3sixty, I can't find anything that says he was banned for a week.

Nobody.

All these other chancers fancying a pop at signing Ronaldo...Dortmund? Do me a favour! Why in the world would Ronnie want to move to Germany...because they are the new power in European football? They've always been there or thereabouts anyway and don't forget Bayern have a new manager, there's also a chance that Dortmund may also...who's to say their form will continue?

Nah, I can realistically see him back at United. Being there for the commencement of a new managers reign at OT and being able to play once again in front of a crowd that truly appreciate's him for what he actually is, which is without a doubt one of, if not the, single best football player in the world? Quite a powerful tonic I would say. I hope it happens...

As an aside, what happened with Scholesy? I've been away this weekend and haven't had chance to watch the highlights from the game yesterday.
Err we were winning 5-2 and he came on with about ten left......we then conceded 3 goals ,not really he way he will want to be remembered.
And got booked!
yikes

Did SAF play him at centre half?

There are certain folks who are overprotective, to the point of aggression, when it comes to their team.

Back to football, U21's won a good game last night. Moyes will be like a kid in a sweet shop with all the talent available. I'm ambivalent about Rooney. Can't understand the bloke but whichever way he jumps he's be great for us and the overhead winner against the Bitters was worth the £24m SAF paid for him alone. Forums are good until they get hijacked by moronic, envious folk with nothing better to do. I reckon unless we do strengthen in midfield, Chelsea will win the PL next year. Fixtures out soon and I bet that City will be at home at the Emptyhad against a promoted team and Reds away somewhere like Swansea. Happened for the last 3 years.

Staying on track by bringing it back to endless bickering of who WUMed who yadda yadda... I think we will need to beg to differ on this one. The comments above pretty much proved my point that we had 4/5 posts immediately after of bickering.

You cant find anything because, as you said in your first post, you weren't the one who banned me. have a look through Sin Bin, the thread is on there or can forward the email if necessary

Worthy of a cheeky bet I think.

I'm always amazed we end up with fixtures at end of season that are "six pointers", Villa v Wigan as an example, before Wigan messed up

I'm hoping we have a better set of fixtures towrds the end of the season, storing up Chelsea, Arsenal and City for April was a tough looking run until the rest let us win it before they became relevant.

I think everyone on here will agree, the Spuds got several pages of "banter" due to the constant and mind-numbing WUMing we've all had to endure from them lot ALL season long.
