Great run out today around the Peak District with some lovely TVR people, even if it did get a bit foggy over the Cat and Fiddle yikes could not see the TVR infront !
But these hardy people never even thought about putting the roof on. Then an interesting stop to allow Hayfield Carnival to cross the road, twice.....the Porsche driver in the Carnival looked a bit worried when he saw the splendid convoy of TVR,s waiting. Then over the Snake Pass and onto lunch at the Ladybower Inn.
Great company and superb views (when the fog lifted) Many thanks to Glen for arranging this. clap

Thanks for the kind words guys, but most of all, thanks for turning up and making it a real fun day.
Thanks Andy for showering me with sparks on that lovely gently undulating stretch that I warned about. Cool cool

Not to mention the Nine Ladies Ale. beerbeer

Really nice day out, good company, good roads and just the odd patch of mist.
Never thought I'd get away with topless all day, but I did. smile

Damn I've been sussed ! Was a "spirited" drive home.

I don't think the extra ooomph of the V8 really shows until you get beyond the legal limit, which of course we didn't whistle

If anyone spots (no chance, as couldn't see much)
I lost a 6" long Orange iPhone connector for the car.

Lost in the mist or in The Cat & Fiddle.
It's mine cry

If anyone is passing again hehe

Poor Simon frown
I came past it yesterday, but didn't call in. I could see for miles!
I'll phone & ask them...... or go & have a hunt for it drivingbiggrin
Did you go in the back room ( pool table ) at all?
Are you sure you didn't lose it when w
e stopped for the carnival parade?
Have you had a good look under the seats?

Very kind of you Glen bow
I've tried ringing the number I have
01298 78366
but says 'no external calls accepted' grumpy
I've sent them an email though.

Slim chance but worth a try.

Remember taking it out the car on arrival.
Must have slipped out in the car park of when buying drinks.frown

No luck with phone connector yet Simon, sorry I haven't had a chance to drive up there.

On a different matter, my sister Jan & her partner Paul ( silver MR-2 ) wish to convey their thanks to "all the nice TVR men & the lovely Amy" for letting them join in the fun. She thinks you're a great bunch & they really enjoyed your company ( they don't get out much, MR-2's are soooo thirsty! ).
She then goes on to complain that she was too hot in the tent on Sat night.
Well, it was a lot warmer than Fri.

All I can say is, you must have all been on your best behavior.
Thanks guys wink
