Hi Rob , thanks for the let off. Helmets,I doubt you will be able to hire one as this will be a sort of private affair meeting. The first T/D I did earlier this year at Bedford,our very own QBee kindly lent me one of his spares. Might be worth chatting him up . If you want to buy (as I did after 1st T/D, you get the bug),go on to "Hedteq" website. I got one fullface for £150 quid which conforms to all motorsport regs.

I have a couple of spares.....either Large (59-61cm) or XL (61-63cm). The measurement is done with a dressmakers tape, around the head horizontally, one inch above the eyes. If you are a normal bloke size, one of those will probably fit. Pin-heads will rattle around inside.
Word of advice re full face or open face. In a car with the roof on, you only need open face, its cooler and better visibility. At some tracks, if you are driving with the roof down, they insist on full face, some don't. So suit your purchase to your preference re the roof.

I will call the circuit tomorrow and see what dates he can offer us, but please batter your mates about the ears, tell them what a hoot it will be, and get them to sign up. Realistically, not all that are on the list at the moment will actually make it on the day, so we ideally need another dozen or so to sign up to make it viable. We don't really want to paying £150 a head when we could just turn up to a Javelin one for £119, do we? 40 at £76 looks much more attractive, especially when they are nearly all TVRs.

I agree - 40 is pretty much tops I'd reckon though to keep a bit of space on track. Mate of mine has an S1 ELise and I'm sure would also be interested if numbers need to be made up.

I'm doing this on 7th of June and my Cerb is decatted with sports exhaust. I'll report back any noise issues

I have a mate with a M5 (v8) that would be very interested if that's ok - he loves TVRs, in fact was the one who got me looking at Cerbera's , and then bought a BMW!

A trackday with mostly Tvr's on really good Tarmac for £76 that's at least an extra tank of gas!
Bargain of the year, for the peeps who have not been to a race circuit/trackday the fact it's with other TVR's helps, you can see the speeds which are safe into corners etc, fantastic day ahead.

Of course you can share the driving. When I was a lad (it feels that long ago) I posted my thoughts on extra drivers etc.

I will be updating n possible days soon. Just trying to do more of the background stuff first.

When I read this it reminded me of me and my Dad when he was a driving instructor.His car had dual controls and he used to let me do the clutch and braking.(on back roads obv) .I assume this is not what you meant.
