Roasted pork fillet, braised cheek, truffled mash, broad beans, gremolata and roasting jus.

Thanks guys. Was a bit rushed trying to preserve temperature so could've been better but fairly pleased.

yea pretty easy, they even have it in tessers now. When experimenting with Arab spices, also take a look at Ras el Hanou.

I found the commonly available harrissa (Barts) to be pretty pants. The proper stuff should blow your head off.

The stuff I used to get from France (Le Phare du Cap Bon) was brill and according to the font of all knowledge that is google, it's now available in Asda: http://www.mysupermarket.co.uk/asda-compare-prices... - 75p for a tube. Bloody bargain.

Try this with a tin of cider. You'll thank me.

Make gravy with the cider afterwards. Simply gorgeous.

I have purchased some reduced, but might fine sounding sausages from the deli and i'm stuck as to what I do with them. Obviously I need to taste them, so can't through them in a pasta or something. What'd be best?

Toad in the hole is what I've come up with. Or bangers and mash, but that sits heavy.

Sausage, chips and beans/egg if they're standard pork sausages?

Bangers and mash is the best thing to do with good sausages.

Sausages on white bread with butter and smear of ketchup. Nothing else is needed.
