Good to see this thread made it through the 'winter' of the last 48 hours - did the "one or two new mods floating about", the mooted cause of this thread's recent hibernation as suggested on "the other thread", get their well-deserved slap(s)? My suggestion on "the other thread" - regarding audit trails for this thread and who has moved it and then finally (temporarily) closed it - never got a response, oddly enough ...



Regardless of this willy-waving and point-scoring ( & ), my biggest forum gripe is the lack of an "ignore" button .

Definitely my main gripe is when you go out of your way to help someone (including quite a bit of research and help) and you get no follow up 'thanks' post. Especially on the 'holiday' forum....

This sort of thread where it becomes an orgy of private love between all the regulars and completely takes over thereby excluding anyone else.
