sorry to repost an image but this is one of the favourite images I've ever taken, absolutely no PP at all (i dont really understand editing)
Would someone mind telling me how I could make it better with editing? Or indeed wether its just a bit s
t and I shouldn't bother editing it
Also is it possible to edit the horrible fencing out of the image? I imagine it'd take way more skills than I posses even if it is possible

Hi Danny - I had a go (hope you don't mind), results as below
(Cue people saying they prefer the original
)
- straightened it up
- cropped a bit off the right and off the bottom
- cloned out the branches which were overlapping the top right of the building
- removed colour cast
- added contrast
- sharpened
All simple stuff done in Photoshop Elements - it's worth learning just a few basics even if you're not into that side of things

O/T I found out last night that a my old neighbour (Mark Weir) that owned and ran the Honister Slate Mine at the top of that hill was recently killed flying his helicopter to work. Flew into the hill on the right of that photo. RIP.
Said helicopter (just before my wife got in it!)
