Clean the carb and float chamber; reassemble with new gaskets, seals and needle valve. If still not right, check fuel line for kinks and check for in-line fuel filter that may be blocked.

nah, that'll all be fine. you just need to thump the su pump.

make sure that the vent in the fuel cap is venting.

Being hypercritical: the framing is slightly off. On one side of the track there's grass visible beyond the kerb; on the other side the kerb is right on the edge, it draws my eye outwards. I'd crop it very slightly tighter, e.g.
