Well, unless it went badly, obviously wink
It's unlikely I'll do it this time round, as I'm going there for work. I would need to fly to Adelaide, wait a day (you can't dive the day after flying) and then do it. I don't reckon I'll have the time to do it.

There is a company in Adelaide that attracts them to the area using sound (http://adventurebaycharters.com.au/shark-cage-diving-with-great-whites/), which is better than the conventional method of lobbing meat and blood into the water (which is what causes the problems near the beaches when the sharks associate humans with food).

Definitely a drive in an F1 car, and at the other end of the scale I've always wanted to drive a dumper truck, probably because I had a toy one when I was little. smile

I bet it's bloody scary! I don't think you can do it in South Africa anymore, but certain parts of Oz you can. I'm going to Perth soon, but it's banned there; it's available in Adelaide though, but that's not exactly just around the corner. Still very tempted though.
Depending on what time of year you go you can swim with Whale Sharks on the west coast, would that do?

I remember you posting a full list of injuries sometime back....sure you don't want to join Chunky and throw pebbles?
hehe

I tend to injure myself doing tame things, not extreme things.

I definitely want to give these a go.
hehe Then for god sake don't take my advice! Probably kill you!
I broke my nose while learning to skydive, and that's with 13000ft and perhaps 55s of time to play with. BASE is dangerous (there are more dead BASE jumpers than live ones) and wingsuits are more dangerous again.

Have you seen this? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LEFCQRwj28w

Skiing or snowboarding is one for me that I've never got around to. I'd love to have a go in an F1 car or a proper single seat racer and I'd love to take part in a proper motor race (in any car).

One other thing I'd love to do but will probably be out of reach during my life time - experience being in space.

Woah woah woah stop right there! Try more like £800-1000 to get to solo standard, and no license lapsing!
That's what I was going to say! No where near that much. I was lucky to get a grant when I was younger of around 1000 pounds and that was enough to get me to solo standard. I don't even think I used it all. Depending what time in the year you learn it can be very reasonable indeed. The club I was at did free airtime in winter. You only paid for your launches. This made it ridiculously cheap if it was a good day for the winch!

Fairly easy one to achieve, but I have always wanted to develop my own films (photo) but have never got around to it.

I just googled my local glider club, it's surprisingly cheap compared to powered flight;

I've wanted to do that for ages, largely because one of the side-effects of all the frenzied masturbation is a whip-like stone-skimming arm.

Indeed fellow PHer 10P has challenged me to a stone skimming duel, although he's obviously too much of a mincing Nancy-Boy-Potter to actually follow through with it. Hi 10P!
