Best Lease Car Deals Available? (Vol 6)

I think it varies. On the BMW quotes dealers have been best, on the XF the brokers have been best, on the Arteon dealer was best but on the Golf R Estate it was broker again......as someone else mentioned you can likely get a new car cheaper on PCP than a nearly new one on PCP due to the APR being much worse on used cars.
Golf R it is because the best deals at present are not with VWFS, so dealers might not have (or want) access to itTimD said:

Hi guys, what’s the smart way of getting a dealer to match a lease deal. I’m hoping to test drive an e class cab before pulling the trigger on the 3+23 offer a few pages back, have checked the sticky faq’s but it’s not mentioned and recall mentioning fleet or something is the way to go from previous posts?
The Volvo S90 deals are looking quite good.

I've just emailed them any quote i have ans asked them if they can beat it, they usually have to pull in their fleet or corporate teams. Dealers seem to hsve more flexibility if you are in receipt of a company car allowance etc.J

Hi Everyone,
Please excuse my lack of knowledge. I haven’t ever leased a car before. I currently have a Audi Q5 and my husband has a Nissan Quashai. We took out a loan to buy these and I’m beginning to think by the time the loan is up the cars won’t be worth very much. So I’m looking into leasing.
Realistically we don’t need two big cars. We would like an SUV/4x4 kind of car and then a little one. Neither of us want to pay huge amounts upfront. Would like a 2 or 3 year lease with 10k miles. We don’t want to be paying more than £500 really each month for both cars.
Is this realistic or something that isn’t achievable?
Again sorry for not knowing very much I’m hoping someone can help me out. Thank you

I dont think you are too far off, £600 may be more realistic with SUV in mind......I've see XC60 and Mercedes GLC deals around low £400 mark on 3+23, 8k. Then you add the Astra or some of the Octavia deals that are kicking about.
Do you need an SUV? If its just a large car then take a look at some of the deals on the S90/V90 in this thread , with one of those and Astra or Octavia you.may get into the £500 for both area.

Slightly off topic but.....those of you with a decent amount of leasing under your belt, do you find there's a hike on insurance as you dont have the financial interest in the car?
Any sites/brokers that are particulalry lease frinedly?
J
No, in my experience insurance is slightly cheaper (like £20 or so on the cars I have had) when lease company are selected as legal owner.Any sites/brokers that are particulalry lease frinedly?

I’ve had 4 lease cars over the last few years. Never had a problem with insurance.Any sites/brokers that are particulalry lease frinedly?

The premium has always been roughly the same.
Changing the owner to the lease company generally removes about 10-20% quotes from the search.
Whilst this might remove one of the companies you would have used, there’s normally another similarly priced one still available with a provider I am happy with.
It’s not a problem

should be achievable as long as you don’t need a premium SUV and are happy to go with whatever is in budget. Please excuse my lack of knowledge. I haven’t ever leased a car before. Think something like a Kodiaq Edition (lots of kit) and then an Astra / Octavia / Leon would be doable with just 3 months up front. Or if a smaller SUV would do then Atecas or Qashqai’s etc would definitely be in reach. There were some good deals on the Ford Kuga around as well I think.

Anyone looking for a 440i might want to think about the offer 1stchoicevehicleleasing.co.uk have for buying outright vehicles.
4 Series 440 Coupe 3.0 i 326 M Sport 2Dr Auto [Start Stop]
list price: £46,015
their price brand new: £34,051
saving: £11,963.90 (26%)
I'd think buying it outright and driving it for 2yrs + 20k miles then selling would be a much better deal than leasing, which looks like it'll cost you about £12.5k over 2 years. I'd definitely go this route over leasing it, even if you take finance out to buy it you'll do much better than losing 12.5k over 2 years.
Looking on Autotrader, a 66 plate with 20k miles will go for around £28/29k, so that'd be a loss of just over £6k for 2 years compared to double that for a lease.

How would you go about doing that mate and get the finance to afford it? I.e. how could I get the finance to basically make purchasing this be like having a lease contract?4 Series 440 Coupe 3.0 i 326 M Sport 2Dr Auto [Start Stop]
