We'll need someone with a great touch and who can do stunning shots from outside a tightly packed box on Tuesday... Anyone know someone that fits the bill?

Is Lovren injured? Shame, 2nd game in row he's been left out of the squad especially after his great performance against Watford.

This is what Klopp has said

Asked whether Robertson was not involved because of rotation or a fitness issue, Klopp told BT Sport: “Something in between.

“He would have started today but then he felt [something] slightly. But it’s all good, it will be fine for Wednesday. But not for today.

“So we didn’t want to have him on the bench and see Robbo and think, ‘Maybe we can bring you [on].’ It wouldn’t make sense today. That’s the reason and he will be fine.”

Seriously? No-one thinks he's 3rd choice unless Matip is out for some reason.

YNWA eh? Unless your name is Lovren.

Henderson - The art of passing (but he only passes sideways)

Some of those misses are criminal though. He should have way more assists than he does this season.

Lovren at least has done some good things for the team at times. Karius spent more time talking himself up and then not backing that up.

Agreed.

I reckon he's had his day with us. But he gives a st and puts a shift plus THAT goal in the champions league.

Always amuses me when people quote this. He finally evolves his game but people still use the quote which was very appropriate 24 months ago.

On a lighter note....

Yeah I suspect he'll be 1 of a few on his way in the Summer.

Karius was having a good season with us up until the CL final. He wasn't a world class keeper but he was easily as good a keeper as Lovren is a defender.

And you're talking about Lovren, the self professed "best defender in the world".

I'd say they're on par with each other. Both were capable of having great games. Both capable of calamitous mistakes. Both no longer good enough for the top, top level.
